Collection of is a partnership between Blank & Co. and curator Howie Chen (Dispatch).
The project brings together a selection of individuals and places to present special objects from their possession and creative production, making them open for consideration. Through this exchange, a system of objects and needs reveals itself.
Goglean
GoGlean, which allows people to share the location of their fruit trees with their community, is a collaboration between Blank & Co. and April Lee. The project was initiated in Honolulu, Hawaii, a city with a wealth of fruit trees and an abundance of wasted fruit.
Zingmagazine 20
This CD was a partnership with artist Grace Kim. We designed and co-curated the CD for Zingmagazines 10th anniversary. Featured bands were Serious Weapon, r3mote, Alphaville, Lansing-Dreiden, Mahogany, Denali, Infirm Glory of the positive hour and Colin Newman.
The other artists featured in the issue were Jonas Mekas, Kenny Schachter, Gordon Tapper, Ed Web, Gregory Volk, Donald Fergusson, Michael Corris, Amy Sillman, and Susan Robinson.
